RossellPeace, then forward

Case study

The first chapter: from twelve years to two pages.

A composite from early Rossell conversations, shared with permission and details changed.

5 min read

Twelve years in operations, two layoffs, and a resume that read like a job description someone else had written.

The first conversation did not touch the document. We spent it on what those twelve years had actually built: a person who could stabilize a failing shift and keep people from quitting.

The second conversation shaped the language. Not louder — truer. Three accomplishments replaced eleven duties. The summary said one thing instead of five.

Two pages became one and a half. Interviews followed within a month, though we would never promise that, and we do not.

What we will promise is this: the document will tell the truth about the work, and it will read like it came from a person who knows their own worth.
